My name is Pamela E. Milne. I am a specialist in interpersonal or ‘people’ skills and an author. Welcome to my website where you can find out a bit more about me, my life and work and my writing.
Fascinated by people all my life, I found my true vocation working as a training professional – helping people to present themselves positively and develop their interpersonal skills.
A lot of problems we experience don’t relate to the skill set but rather to a belief deficit brought about by having a negative image of ourselves.
Once these negative beliefs have been tackled, I have found it becomes easier to make rapid progress to further develop ourselves, learn, and achieve goals in life we could only previously have dreamt of.
Professionally I possess a Masters degree in Change Agent Skills and Strategies from the University of Surrey, and have a Degree in Economics from QMUL. My career spanned over a 30 years working to help people within organisations such as; the NHS, Wellcome, Glaxo Smith Kline, Nestlé, Clarks Shoes, Pharmacia and Upjohn. I learnt a lot about the robustness of the human spirit as I saw people thrive and move on to better futures.
From these experiences I was encouraged by a client to write my first book The People Skills Revolution. This recounts the successful approach I developed throughout my career. This was followed shortly afterwards by The People Skills Revolution Handbook, which helps people put the ideas into practice. My new book The Evolution of Love takes this a step further and looks at personal relationships today, why they can be so difficult for so many, and what we can do to find lasting love.

What people say
People Skills Revolution
This book has been so helpful in my career, providing me a methodical approach to manage the different personalities and behaviours we experience in the work place. It provides solutions to address rather than emotionally react, often negatively. I’ve recommended this to many of my colleagues, who have used the learnings to help them deal with difficult situations with colleagues and in their career. I would highly recommend this book.
People Skills Revolution
There were so many scenarios where I thought this applies to me and I can do something positive. it struck a real chord and has already helped me resolve what used to seem thorny problems.
People Skills Revolution
I really love this book, it spoke to me particularly about eliminating negative self beliefs and assertiveness using exercises every day, starting to see changes in the way people respond to me.
The Evolution of Love
‘I really enjoyed it and found it fascinating’

A journey of self discovery. The author leads us through an engaging journey of self discovery and helps us rebuild ourselves with a foundation of positives and an awareness of ourselves. A reference book that is refreshingly easy to read.
The People Skills Revolution Handbook
Powerful lessons. Through powerful lessons and practical advice Pamela provides ideas that are at least thought provoking and at best insightful, confidence building and inspiring.
